This session serves as a dedicated practice platform, designed to solidify and refine the fundamental sailing skills acquired in ASA 101. Participants will engage in hands-on drills focusing on essential maneuvers like tacking and jibing, ensuring smooth and efficient transitions. Furthermore, the crucial skill of executing a figure-eight man overboard recovery will be thoroughly rehearsed, fostering confidence and competence in handling emergency situations. This focused training environment provides an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, building muscle memory and enhancing overall boat handling proficiency.
To maximize the effectiveness of this practical training, a minimum booking of three students is required. This ensures a dynamic learning environment where participants can observe and learn from each other’s experiences, fostering collaborative skill development.
