We offer private sailing cruises in Lake St. Clair. We offer 3 hour sailing for up to 6 guests at a time.

Whether you would like to spend a nice evening on a sailboat and enjoy your time with your friends and family or you would like to crew on the boat and practice sailing, We have sunset sailing from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Weekdays sunset Sailing

We offer private sailing cruises in Lake St. Clair from 6 pm to 9 pm on Weekdays Monday through Thursday. If you can’t find your proffered day or date, contact our manager and she will create an availability for you.  Text or call the manager Rene at Call (586) 770-2518

Weekends sunset sailing

What to expect

We depart from Lambrecht Marina (previously Markley  marina and head out through Clinton River to Lake St. Clair. We then set sail and enjoy the wonderful views of sunset on Lake St. Clair and much more.  Participation in the sailing is welcomed, but not mandatory, of course. 

This is the perfect trip for groups of friends, romantic evenings, special occasions such as birthday celebration or a graduation.  Give your loved ones a memorable experience. We can accommodate most special requests such as proposals or engagements.

Location

Our location is at Lambrecht Marina (previously Markley  Marine 31300 N. River Road, Harrison Township, MI 48045

Upon Your Arrival: When you pull up to the guard shack please let them know you are with Lake St. Clair Sailing School. The sailing school is located just to the left of the guard shack. Please park in front of the marina office or along the seawall by the flag.

What to Bring

Please Bring The Following Gear For Your Comfort:

  • Snacks and drinks
  • Bring your own bottle of water
  • Deck shoes (rubber sole, non-marking) NO FLIP FLOPS!
  • Layer up-it may be chilly in the morning and hot in the afternoon so dress to peel off the layers. 

(Optional)

  • Sun screen, Chapstick if you wish
  • Sunglasses with Glasses strap
  • Glasses strap if you have glasses
  • Sun hat preferably with a strap or baseball cap
  • Motion sickness medication (Bonine is an OTC)- Bring your own (Please take one hour before going on the boat)
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Our boats are equipped with PFDs and all safety gear but if you have your own PFD please bring it with you. When you wear a PDF, it should be buckled up all the time.
