Lake St. Clair Sailing School is an American Sailing Association certified training facility offering everything from your first time on a tiller to offshore navigation by electronics and the stars.

The spark
A Mediterranean crossing that changed everything
Ten days on a yacht in the Mediterranean. That's all it took. The trip left a lifetime impression — I fell in love with sailing and I knew I had to become a sailor.
The training
From student to instructor
I first learned at Edison Boat Club in Detroit, then joined Lake St. Clair Sailing School as a student. I came to love every ASA course — and eventually came to love this school itself.
The mission
Keeping the school alive — and growing it
When the opportunity came to carry the school forward, I took it. I continue to offer what made it special: rigorous sailing classes and unforgettable experiences on Lake St. Clair, now expanded with sunset sails, photoshoots, and offshore certifications.
