I was really worried about taking this class. Worried about my age, almost 70, and not being as quick mentally and physically. Shortly after boarding or maybe even before boarding I realized none of that mattered. Jim was absolutely wonderful, very patient with all of us. We had many questions and he would stop to answer those and repete when necessary. Jim said we would learn more by being on the boat rather than in a class room and he is right about that. I wasn't looking forward to sitting in a class room trying to unterstand a diagram. Being outside actually looking at what was being discussed was so much better. Jim made everything easier and an enjoyable experience. I learned a lot and I'm smart enough to know I have a lot more to learn and I can't wait! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Our class at the school was perfect. The instructor was natural and made the experience enjoyable. The boat was immaculately clean and I felt secure in using it. The owner's interest in the class served to show me the importance she takes to provide top quality. I will certainly utilize the school for any further training that they provide.

Excellent course; outstanding instructor (Bob Baldwan). Would look forward to the opportunity to learn more from him.

We had bad luck with the weather, but the instructor did a great job handling the time. The instructor was good at putting us at ease. Also, he conveyed his joy of sailing.

We had a wonderful sunset cruise with the Lake St. Clair Sailing School! We felt very safe with Captain Bob + crew. Lake St. Clair was beautiful!! We are just learning to sail and Captain Bob gave us one thing to do to help us with the learning process. We had a lot of fun, and we are looking forward to the basic sailing class that we will be taking soon!!

Captain Jim was just a perfect instructor. He kept things fun, but challenging, and was always teaching us and validating our skills and knowledge as we sailed. Best classroom experience ever!
